No reason to be disappoint with me as well, the fact that X1 is just as fast as what was pictured on the first video commercial is enough to me - i'm impressed with the developments on the overall UI speed

I understand what people are saying and it's true, we build up the hype around here so much that we line ourselves up for disappointment.
Sometimes the feelings get a little heated, especially when we see leaked photos or snippets of information from insiders.
Sometimes people just want to believe and when they've had so much anticipation and hope since the beginning of the year, then they're allowed to be disheartened and a little angry at what they and others see as lack of progress in the area they are interested in.
The tension builds as the last few months of the year come zooming towards us, which probably leads to heightened anticipation ... and higher disappointment.
Meanwhile we continue to wait .. and wait ... and wait ... |

Glad to hear it, they do need to bulk out their top-end somewhat.

windows mobile basically sucks when it comes to convenient text messaging and fast tasks. It would also be absolutely opposite to se's ease of use interfaces or the uiq interface..while the whole design and features were great for x1, imo xperia with win mo was a bad idea. there've been many rumors about uiq based xperia phones and stuff so waitin for that!!! |

wasn't there something about multi-boot?
A thin X1 without qwerty and this UIQ-Touch-Concept would be great.
In the meantime I'm happy with my w902. |

100% agreed....
in my opinion...a full touch screen device is only good for show offs.... not every day heavy use.
somthing like X1 is perfect.. has the best of both worlds. |

Rumours swirling around the SE Event in Lund this week are suggesting the next Xperia device - the X2 - will also be a WM device.

This might be a result of Sony Ericsson's Chief Technology Architect, Mats Lindoff, confirming that they had been testing Android on some prototypes and admitting that they had no plans to launch devices based on that particular platform anytime soon.
