I've downloaded them both but are still trying to figure them out...

Me neither lol. seems you need a 'proper' midi set-up. Wish I still had my Atari ST.

I used to use Cubase at college (probably one of the best midi progs out there) but I'm not spending $600 dollars on it. lol

It's bad enough that we may have the Euro forced upon us, but I didn't realise that we were using dollars in 'Sunny old England'?

there are quite a few around. a google search will pull up a few good hits.

i know of Midi Maestro which was mentioned earlier.

Midi Maker is nice and simple (and small).

there are a bunch of others on that site.

wrt the comp entries, if you try downloading those midis to your phone they can sound quite different than when using your computer's audio system. i think that has a bearing on weather they are good as ringtones or just tones.

But sending tones to a phone is a lot like sending the themes to a phone. I've created themes that look different and better on the phone.
So maybe, just like the themes comp, the tones just just be judged from computers

As you all can see we are starting to get entries to the Rintone com as well now.

I was personally hoping for tones with a bit more "umpf", "groove", "beat" and "rave"...
But... these will do as teasers for you all to get your didgats out and "HIT IT!!!"
