v has their own fw codes... unless your fw is already k600
btw, my fw is r2t002
i think this is a later version... i used www.davinciteam.com to upgrade.. hehe changed my v600 to k600

i just noticed in k608i, that the earth icon is constanly displayed, even i disconnected from internet. weird, cos that icon should be shown aslong i browse, then it should disappear.

k600 r2t firmware was released in june last year. k608 r2t firmware released in september. |

Hey - i just used the SEMC_Tool from the Independent Daredevil K750i/W800 flashing to fully unlock my V600i using a DSS-25 docking station.
Just put the phone in your dock, open the app up, select K600i, DSS docking station, then the correct COM port, select "Clear SP Locks" on the Unlock tab, then click "DO CHEAP SHIT USB JOB" and your phone will be unlocked.
You can also enable a battery/channel option (in GDFS) (who knows what this does??)
Works a treat though!
Just updated my firmware on SEUS, too. I have R2BA019.

This is normal, it shows that GPRS / UMTS data is available, opposed to data being transmitted as in older SE phones.

i've just updated my v600i to the latest on SEUS (R2BA019) and now when I send texts the status bar is just black.
anyone else seen this? |
