I've just been browsing mobile-review and I came across this article:
Duck Stories for August
I have no idea what the title is on about, but scroll down til you see the Java One phone. Correct me if I am wrong, but is he saying the Java One phone is the X5?
The Google translation is very very unclear so maybe someone with a bit of knowledge of the Russian language could help us translate a bit better?
This article about rumors and Chinese phones. I dont find it interesting |

@SE cz: Thanks mate. I changed my post to canard. I guess Google mixed up because canard is the french word for duck. I thought it seemed weird!
@rustam07: I only thought the Java One phone bit was interesting, if it is actually saying what I think it is saying.

Got a headache trying to understand the translation. He seems to be implying that the phone which traded under the name X2 is the X5, even though it sounds like he is guessing that that's going to be the new name (X5, that is). Sheesh!

Even the translation needs translating.
Would be good to see the JavaOne phone. Although, how do we know its not just a styling exercise / concept after all?

The right translation for the article title would be "August's Duck Tales", I guess.
In this context the word "duck" and "canard" means the same - rumor. |

According to Google, canard means deliberately misleading.

After trying to read that article I would say the google meaning is spot on.

«Утиные истории» you can translate as "Duck Tales" or "Duck history" of course, but meaning is the same - canard. "Duck" in russian you can translate as canard, almost in our region it is the same another meaning of "Duck" (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia etc.). It's a words game ...
