Clarity hurts my eyes, they bleed as a matter of fact.
Is the JavaOne phone the Xperia phone? Will it be WM or UIQ. A few rumblings have been going around (my sources) about a PSP type UI being created for the future but more cosmetic than anything else (like TouchFlo), any ideas?
Also, a little bird told me that a few UIQ devices are around so Hicaru is not the only one. Apparently, the C905 will not be the only 8MP phone available before next year's 10MP phone. Hicaru will not be the only other phone with 8MP to come.
Also, Beibei's scroll wheel is not so good as its lame for scrolling long lists. With the d-pad (like G900) you can hold down the button whereas it hurts to scroll a long list with Beibei. Pressing down the wheel is not so hot either as it often scrolls at the same time. The stylus is uncomfortable as well and gets caught on stuff (has a loop at the end) so you end up losing it or finding it separate from the phone. However, UIQ 3.3 is said to be nice; nothing so groundbreaking but a positive update to UIQ 3.
Does anyone want to rubbish my claims or do you agree? |

If the little bird is right, these are great news
I can partly agree on what you wrote about BeiBei. I do not find scrolling difficult, although I think the scroll wheel on the side as on previous models is more comfortable. I try to press the screen not the BeiBei wheel, cause it is more convenient for me. I also prefer to use fingers, rather than the strange looking stylus.
Getting used to UIQ 3.3 was so fast, that I now find it a little bit difficult to use the old UIQ 3.

In their latest podcast, the AllAboutSymbian guys talked about releasing news soon about new devices from Nokia, Samsung...and SE. I guess they also got info on Hikaru...

I will also welcome it even if it's just Paris. What happened to the rumor that Paris will still be released to the rest of the world except Europe? |

Good news, these rumours have been a bit thin-on-the-ground lately.
Also, I still keep reading stuff about SE's 'iPhone', on the internet. Did this rumour begin with a rogue photoshop going around? What was the origin of that rumour exactly?

N96 is no competition for SE's C905. samsung will take care of that
C905 is more for the mass market. It will be a bestseller absolutely. |

well, its no competition for us, but for a normal person, he would see, n96 and n95 having 5 megapixel, while c905 havin 8mp! and then jump off to it. As thats what i see in people around me.
But even though they are not basically competitiors, it can help se keep some of its momentum, and the earlier they have their release dates, earlier we can expect the next announcement. |

Even c905 is a different story N96 definitely affect the sales a bit as its new. If c905 has simple 5mp cam then what will be the difference with the old phones without wifi too. |

C905 and N96? Forget it, Nokia has made such a great name for itself no one will even look at C905 unless the price is really low enough to make a difference. It's crucial how SE handles the next year as I think it will determine the future of that company.
P990i: A mistake, a curse and a disgrace So I lowered my expectations and settled for a P1i. I couldn't keep my expectations so low for a long time so now I have an HTC Touch HD |

They are two completely different phones for different target markets... I don't understand why some of you are doing these comparisons... |

Well, i havent compared c905 and n96. What you guys failed to see my point was that, if se releases c905, it can help get some market shares rather than let all the buyers buy n96 as its only choice.
