That's because i've already experienced it with p990. It had all the features anybody could think of at that time but the hardware just didn't deliver. Lack of RAM made multitasking impossible. Processor was too weak to handle bigger images, pdf files, word documents above 1 mb and high quality videos. Nokia's current hardware handles all this with ease while SE still struggles as the hardware hasn't changed in the past 2 years. For eg, Adding 16m colours increases the load on the processor. While nokia and samsung are aiming for hd videos next year, SE finally goes to vga. At present, only xperia is the phone from SE that truely has all the power in its hood. So, i wish for more phones on x1's hardware or better as anything weaker simply wont deliver.
The G900 and G700 have slightly different processors, they run much better to. As for the screens, no one has made a 16mil touch screen for a phone so don't blame SE. If they have prove it. And what the hell do you mean HD? What do you think you'll get? 720P on a mobile phone screen? Which is a: impossible and b: an utter waste of time as you won't see any difference or be able to read anything on the screen.
And more colours means less battery life. And then after all the complaining of SE's screens you say the X1 is best hardware platform, and it has a 65k colour screen? |

I think Nokia's touch screen 'tube' phone or whatever it's called has a 16 million colour touch screen. So somebody has made one... I spose we'll see what that's like very soon.

Well, I'd rather it be Nokia, than S'Sung...
@Makbil
No, neither the SO903itv, or SO906i are Touch devices...The 906i, however, features the XMB, like A200 - but more PS3/PSP Stylised.

'SEMCJ are working on a lot of phones destined for the EU'
This has to be the best news of the year, so far - definately up there with the C905 announcement - which may I add, as you all know - was known as 'Shiho'...
'Shiho' is a chain of events in Soto Zen Buddhism (Japan)...whereby a Priest receives full Ordination and given the power, to transmit lineage to those that follow....

Hey, u r getting me wrong man. G900 has a different processor but still is no match to nokia. SE is quite behind in terms of processor and 3d acceleration. By HD, i mean video recording. A screen resolution beyond that of xperia is just a waste as the details cant be seen with the naked eye. I praise xperia for its excellent processor and RAM. SE's current displays are excellent and top notch. I was giving an example based on previous posts of what is to come from SE nxt year. For me, SE's 262k colours are similar to nokia's 16m colours. I just cant notice any difference. My point was that the processor needs to be improved upon for providing 16m colours or it will result in less battery life and laggy performance. Btw, iphone is a 16m colours touch screen phone. I want SE to bounce back and according to me, they are going on a right path these days. |

Before anyone comments on the above post. The poor guy lives in Georgia which is being invaded by Russia, so have a bit of thought in what you post eh?

Ugh, right. Does this have anything to do with the fact that they're bombarding Georgia?
This is hardly the place for that kind of a discussion, though.

Yes, true, it wasn't exactly the right place for it, but then this thread is already well off topic.

То, что происходит просто ужасно, но вы своего президента остановите, а то он у вас больной на всю голову. Нахрена он влез в такую драку уму непостижимо просто.
