I just pushed up the brightness in Photoshop a little bit and there seems to be a Walkman-Button on the right side, but no D-Pad. |

It's all well and good to call the P990i a business device. It's time was years ago, that was then, so it made sense. But nowadays, people expect the high enders to be powerhouses easily capable of doing everything else the other models can do, and more. Its an all in one convergence device. There is also a clear shift towards multimedia in the high-end sector as hardware and software are able to better support it. I would expect the best camera, music player, multimedia capabilities and internet capabilites and generally a nice looking OS from the high end.
So the expectations haven't changed, that is what everyone was expecting from the P990 when it came out. However, SE has not only made no significant improvement to the P990 platform, instead they have introduced poorly designed devices with less features than the P990. User interface, missing functions and the fastport placement are just a few examples.
A business device certainly doesn't mean it should not have high end audio and video features but I would hardly rate it by how games can be played on it.
P990i: A mistake, a curse and a disgrace So I lowered my expectations and settled for a P1i. I couldn't keep my expectations so low for a long time so now I have an HTC Touch HD |

So is the size comparable to the iphone in terms of width and height? Id really hope they kept the size down. I dont want really anything bigger then my m600.

Nobody said we will see it in a few weeks. Especially not Mizzle or Pop Lover. Tob!s could say anything here and the majority of members who are regulars in this thread would not believe him.
No offense to Tob!s, but his stories are hard to believe and they seem a bit confused. He needs to earn everyone's trust with some solid proof before spouting off his hard-to-believe stories!

I really looking for a device like n95-2 but from SE with touch capability so i am waiting for paris or hicaro. But they replaced the paris with hicaro for h/w upgrad.but seems the device look bigger and controversial key design to me.but i can't comform till i see the real one. I'm loosing my hope.bec i really need D-pad. Anyone joining with me?

Hicaru is now in early prototype level, So I don't expect it this year. maybe MWC 2009?
btw the resolution screen looks to me WVGA or VGA. not QVGA anymore |
