Any word on the quality issues with the pictures and video? Seems like SE has layed the k750 on the shelfs, no new firmware for a long time now? It doesn't take months to increase some quality settings, it takes seconds...

Word!
I'm very disappointed with this as i hate the fact i've spent £££'s on this phone and to find out that they degraded the quality of the camera, it's just not on! I've complained several times but they don't seem to be doing anything about it.
Bloody useless, they need shooting whoever degraded the quality.

It does appear SE are taking their time in releasing another update. Let's just hope that this will result in a stable, bug-free FW.
However I must say that they are getting better and better at FW programming. I mean my T610 with R1 (R1C IIRC) was a mess. As with the K750 R1 is a very decent FW (setting aside the crashing nastiness of R1A)

The camera in R1J/L is the same, but while the video is certainly worse than R1A I don't know if it has been conclusively established yet that the still camera is worse. If it is it's a fine line.
There is also currently a thread, started by numb, to discuss and compare photos between K750 and W800, it'd be great if peeps could start posting like mad to it, maybe we can get a definite answer. If W800 is better than peeps who want the better cam have the option to convert their K750's to W800:

all phones have bugs, all manufacturers are guilty.
So why bash SE? |

I'm not bashing S.E. I prefer them over other manufacturers,
that doesn't mean they are acceptable though, when you pay 500+ $ for something you expect it to work
with the current technology all those employees and all the money and support we are handing over they should at least test there devices before they throw them out into the market,
not to mention listen to our feedback I have yet to see Sony, Nokia or any other mobile manufacture actually give it's customers what they want, they include something in a device but exclude it from the other just so they can gain more bucks off of us, ok sure go ahead do that but at least make a high end device that would tend to us hardcore mobile fanatics with the simple things we have grown to need and can't live without

I agree that it's slack of manufacturers, I just didn't think SE where any worse than others
The worst by far are windows 2003 mobiles, now there's a system that needs work |

Good point
But, you really only need to read the very first post, as this is allways updated with the latest information on firmwares.
You dont need to read the 101 following pages of debate |

it is somewhat ironic, though, that your entire contribution to the esato forums (2 posts) are two posts in a thread complaining that people have ruined the thread by complaining and speculating.
