There seem to be som ongoing debates about the quality of pictures taken with the W800 (or K750 flashed to W800) vs the quality of pictures taken with K750.
I dare you all
Lets use this thread to try and compare these, to either confirm or deny any differences.
Rules are: Only post raw unedited full size pictures. No imageediting allowed, not even resizing. If you dont have any hosting yourself then use imageschack to host the pictures.
Optimum comparison shots are taken under same conditions, therefore people having both the K750 and the W800, please help out with comparising shots of the same motive under the same conditions from both.
Others just post your best shots, unedited
Thx.

Some K750 lowlight pics at different white balance settings. I'm a bit unsure about the last pic (exif info indicates auto whitebalance, and I have feeling I used the cam light). I'll repeat the test and take better notes. Note how the last picture is HEAPS better than the first two:
flueroscent white balance, shutter 1/16, exposure 1/20, iso-800:

auto white balance, shutter 1/16, exposure 1/20, iso-800:

auto white balance, 1/4 shutter, 1/5 exposure, iso-240:

Sorry about the links, I thought I had chosen the link that shows thumbnails

good pics numb, you got a steady hand! I do notice that with the K750 I have to be very steady when taking pics in low-ish light, maybe the w800 firmware can focus faster?
Those pics are certainly as good as my old 2.1MP Kodak CX4200. But yes we do need some W800 pics to compare with. Even you guys who only have W800, and also you guys who have flashed to W800 from K750, should post some pics here.

the firmware manages the hardware. To design firmware that manages hardware well in one area, you may need to compromise hardware management in another area.
This is due to space and memory limitations.

just thought i'd mention, pretty good deal from onestopphoneshop, free w800 on o2 200, double mins & txts for 3 months and 4 months line rental back when you produce your 4th month bill. |

Not all. The picture of the cat, then K750 looks better. As the guy said. In some light conditions W800 looks better and in others K750 looks better (there is probably similar differences between different K750 units). No clear winner.
