^ good one..that guy is holding an N8 in terms of quality, nothing in the smartphone world really comes close. Maybe at times, but overall..
And the image capturing is only part of the story, the sound recording during video + zoom.. I would pay $500 just for those. I was at a house party couple of nights ago, and usually when I record a video from the dance floor, the mics just can't take it.. the lows just blow out. Not with the 808, it recorded everything just fine..
This phone is very practical overall.. made for living and capturing memories as you go.

I agree, as long as we're only talking about the hardware, while ignoring the very low resolution display.

Comparative Just RIDICULOUS !!!
As Clearly 808 PUREVIEW Is Clearly Better, More Lifelike Color, Zero Noise, Better Detail And Greater Depth Of Field !
If You Want To Compare The 808 PureView (On Mode Creative), Compare Digital Cameras Compact Premium (CANON G1X, SONY RX100, FUJIFILM X100, PANASONIC LX7 And SAMSUNG EX2), The Most Any Comparative Type No Value !
P.S: Samsung Galaxy S III Even Is The Best Cameraphone (ANDROID)... Today Sony LT22i XPERIA P And Sony ST27i Xperia Go Have Best Photographic Results Regardless Of Lighting Conditions And The Scene Photographed ! |

To Samsung Boys (Davidsic And Rikken)... Sony Boys (Yce_Marvel, Sugarkane And Rasec) And Members Esato !
One More Serious Entity And High Reliability recognizes The NOKIA 808 PUREVIEW As The Largest And Better Solution Photo And Video World Mobile !!!
NOKIA 808 PUREVIEW (__ABYSS__) ALL OTHERS CELL WITH INTEGRATED DIGITAL CAMERA !!!
P.S: Congratulations Nokia And Mainly DAMIAN DINNING (NOKIA IMAGING GURU) !!! |

That mean in good light conditions whitout settings the GS3 make nice and more "wow" pictures than the 808. With the Nokia you must sets the vivid colour, increase the constrast and the sharpening to have more "punchy" pictures.
Overall the 808 is better, better details, less noise, better in low light, xenon flash, the zoom ect... On the other side the macro mode such because you can't focus in short distances like a lot of other phones.
So, camera is very good but the phone is very bad for all the rest. But i already said that
Sorry for my english.

^^ so you prefer a camera that shows red when you are shooting pink and shows orange when you are actually taking yellow? If you ask me, id go for a camera that shows yellow when taking yellow and show pink when taking pink. The comparison above proves yet again the superiority of the 808, it showed that it can produce images that can "wow" you
but the s3 probably cannot produce natural images that can "wow" me, the question is, does the s3 produce or can s3 even produce colors as accurate as what is being shot? I doubt that, i bet they will always be vivid and +1 +2 + plus severely noise reduced. Do us a favor please, when it comes to camera, please find something the level of s3. Maybe try challenging 4s or one of those experias.
As for the other aspects of the phone, ok s3 is at the top, no arguing about that, im honest enough to admit that, pleas be kind enough and accept the fact that 808's camera, only the camera though, is of different level, way far above any other phones to date. And the 808 stays there till one of those nikon cameras can do sms and calls.

Ok but for a "web" use when pics are resized do you see a enormous difference of quality on my exemple with these 2 pics ? I don't thing so (or not so much).
In most of good light conditions (the most common ones) do you think that the GS3 is ridiculous in comparison with the 808 ? Look at the gsmarena blind test here : http://www.gsmarena.com/pureview_blind_test-review-773.php note : GS3 is B, 808 is E
I'm honest to, i'm not a specialist of real camera but there's many years i use a lot of phones with integrated cameras. maybe it seems strange but this 808 not impress me that much.
I find it unfortunate that there is not hdr function, no panorama, no stabilization and macro mode is so limited.
I think a phone should be able to take good pictures out of the box but with this 808 if you made no adjustments, I find the pictures a little bland.
But hey, it is useless to talk about too much of this phone because is a really niche product. |

I Disagree With You !
The Pictures Shown On GSMARENA But Show Great Superiority The Nokia 808 Pureview In Relation To Samsung I9300 SIII !
Only The Nokia NSeries N8 And The Digital Camera Olympus Were Similar Results !!!
As Its Experience Personal I Say... "You Do Not Know Use Cameraphones Nokia" !!!
You Do Not Know To Take Advantage Technology Pureview !
Therefore Not Accuse The Product Or Nokia If You Do Not Know How To Handle The Equipment !
For You That Has Little Photographic Knowledge Product Point And Shoots As (APPLE IPHONE 4S And SAMSUNG GALAXY S III) !
As Anything Good a "Ferrari" Hands Who Can Not Drive ???
CU015170 With His Photographic Knowledge Differentiated Show That In The Right Hands 808 PUREVIEW Offers Photographic Results And Video Better Than Any Cell Or Compact Digital Camera !!!
P.S: 808 PUREVIEW Beyond Having The Best Camera, Has The Best Camcorder (Zoom Lossless And Rich Recording), Best Music Player (Dolby Digital Plus And Dolby Headphone Eenhancement), Best Solution Gps (Nokia Maps), And Display Better For External Display "Sunshine" (http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_808_pureview-review-776p2.php) !

Response: OF COURSE NOT !
P.S: 808 PureView Captures Images Macro Mode a Distance Of 15 CM !!!
Therefore Stop (BLA...BLA...BLA...BLA) His S III Has Even 1% Photo Quality And Video Of Top Of Line Symbian !!! |

LOL you're irrecoverable mr "abyss" Guarulhos
Hey dude, the king of troll (ABYSS !) is not going to teach me to take pictures !
yes I fully understand the benefits of pure technology view and I regularly use my camera phones settings (white balance, exposure, ISO, resolution, hdr, scenes and so on) and since 2003 (SE T68i CommuniCam, T610, K700, S700, K750, W900, K800, K850, C902, C901, C905, Satio, Xperia X10 arc, neo, Nokia N80, N95, N86, N8, Samsung Innov8, Pixon 12, GS2, GS3 and perhaps other I forget.
Anyway what you think doesn't matter to me cause you're someone so unpleasant to read. You're a fanboy that's it ! It's not like cu015170 who seems to be someone wise and honnest. |
