Don't worry about fixing something that works ok for you. If your handset works fine. Then i see no need to upgrade. Stick to your current firmware yea. I have R4CK003. I'm satisfied with it up to this day. |

I wanted to post some foggy pictures I've taken from my resurrected W810  , music is STILL a trooper on this although my firmware is slightly off a bit. Yesterday I took the same route home - 1hr37min roughly give or take 12min+/- with 17% battery life when I started. I listened to music NON-STOP at level 8 or 2 fullbars left from full volume. I got home and STILL had 12% battery life left

Its been so long since my last post. Niway 4 themes,i think there are some free ones here in esato.some are even selling d original themes. D orbit and equalizer is truly awesome. 4 applications,try www.getjar.com. Use gprs. U can get some cool appz there,lotz of downloads too 
Hey anyone using d myfriends feature? Cant login 2 yamigo anymore...any other server u know?
Also,anyone knows how 2 use d fone as modem 4 pc internet access?its not as easy as nokia...

Dude why is there so much graining in pictures..!! i mean some pictures posted before thru W810i are crystal clear...
Is it due to light or Macro or Digital Zoom or whatever.!!
But even i face it.. a lot...GRANING.....image not clear enough...!!
maybe am not clicking the pics that well...

Hi to the clan! Have been taking photos these few days but can't upload them now as i'm using opera.
A friend just asked me about the performance of SE phones, my w810 in particular. I just went on and on! He was impressed and happy to fine out so many things he didn't know about se phones. He said it will be his next phone. Hehe!
My phone is still good and doing fine. Sweet little 'black-beauty'! |

@dipen01; and anyone else wondering why those last photos I posted where grainy.
They ALL where taken at the same spot just outside IBM building in Toronto at 1AM EST. Very dark and the drifting fog was so thick that light could not breach it. Its actually just as clear to the human eye standing there taking the photos; just not grainy of course.

if you guys have a good photoshop,you can make stylish pictures....try it via the w810,you can even beat a digicam...

CRITICAL BUG IN WALKMAN in R4EA031 firmware:
The BUG IS:
when playing song - at some time silence appears but playback goes on.
Switch to next track make walkman jump to next and next.
If to press Stop and then Play -- Walkman says -- "Cannot play file" (my SE interface language is portuguese, but the meaning is the same).
Reboot phone - playback works .... for 20-30 mins and then again.
I'm using m4a files!
Help me please!!

Welcome to Esato, and incredible photoshop conversion really nice.
I get my MacBookPro in 5 more weeks - hopefully - and then its CS3 time.
I decided to play around with my W810 Firmware.
RD005 with China core and with US English will screw up the music player (sorry about the vagueness I used DaVinci) - ie deleting tracks in playlists will show up when to go back to list all tracks in the playlist those tracks you deleted are STILL there.
SO I upgraded again but I'm STILL on RBD005

I got My 810i On Dec 2nd. Love it.
Cingular branded.
Unbranded yesterday.... With Wotan....
Now, I like the added features of unbranded, but I'm starting to miss the Cingular branded stuff, like Push mail....
ANYWAY to rebrand it back to cingular?
The only reason why I unbranded it was because I wanted to have Chinese Text on it.... and I found if I leave it as HK Firmware, I lose the ability to
1. Number of voicemail on indicator
2. Search on Contact list with more then the first letter
3. AIM is gone
I do like the Activity/Menu button in place of the Jack Splat Media Net Button....
But if there is a way to get Chinese Text on Cingular Brand, I'm all for it... if not, I'd liek if someone tell me how to rebrand it again.

After pooching the firmware in my W600i 4 times, I had Rogers send me a brand spanking new 4GB W810i (took literally one day to arrive). Hot damn. First things first, unbrand the damn phone. Busted out Phone-XS and left her running for almost 11 hours, flashed properly - not finalized. Ran SEUS, flashed and finalized however not functional. Screw it, DaVinci credits here I come. After 3 unsuccessful flashes, upgraded client - grabbed new MAIN and FS. Flashed to R4CE012 on AMERICA1. Wheee. Slapped in my 'free GPRS' SIM card (PM me if you want info of this). Downloaded all the games online. This phone is a pure beauty. Buttons are a little too small, but do give decent feedback which makes it better. It's a little light compared to my W600 but a clear-case will fix that.
I highly suggest anybody with Rogers branded FW - spend the $12 for DaVinci to unbrand.
Once CID49 is fully broken, I'll be updating to the SuperMode driver for 16x zoom, but for now - this phone is pretty much finished being modded.
Can I join too? =) |

Hi all,
I've had a black W810 since July, and still wouldn't change it for any other phone. Just wanted to know how many people have a white W810i? Do you think they look better than the black ones? I have a black one.
