Hi , I'm Marius , just bought a few days ago an w810i (my first SE fone) ; Let's talk here about w810 software ,issues,strategies,and all stuff. (in fact let's just put all of w810 stuff here on this thread)

I have the first release firmware . Since now it presents good, it's up to my needs . I love file manager , the way you can manage files .
I have also a "problem" with java games : i have in my computer some games , now i copy them on my memory stick , then i select to install them while i'm on the fone and guess what : It connects edge internet and it displays downloading them .. Why ? dunno ..
btw, game experience is very good  , games playing smooth.
I found also the menu transitions cool .

I think you copied the jad file instead of jar file to ur memory stick. . . |

Hi guys! I have trouble updating my w810i's software thru SESU. I have followed the SESU's instructions (e.g. i removed the SIM, replace the battery, and held the 'C' button before i plug the USB cable). But nothing happens after that, the SESU goes back to the start page again everytime I repeat the process still nothing happens. I have attached the screenshot  of the page where the SESU's instructions are. I really hope you could help me, thanks in advanced! |

Jad files are often less than 1 kb files, that only contain certificate information and download url of the original program. . |

Why not update it via OTA(gprs) using the Update service seen in the settings menu? It is much simpler and u dont need any cables or drivers... I updated my w550i that way and it took me just 45 mins to complete. Just try it |

How much it takes to update my fone ? .... . It seems mines is updating to neverending.
I'll explain : I runned SEUS on my computer , followed the steps , and the program recocnized my fone so i clicked to start .
Now it says to me for almost 1 hour , this : > Please Wait ; Downloading Phone Software <
What's this meaning ? and why it tooks soo long .. The bar it's still moving , and moving and moving ..
Can someone tell me in this moment what's wrong ?

Problem solved , my fone is updated to latest firmware now ( it's BRANDED FONE ) For those who think that branded fones cannot be updated pls shut up.

Why you need to swap you're w810 with another one ? w810 is perfect for these days.

Just for my knowledge , you're contact menu is has sliding effect when you enter it ?
I just observed something after updated from first firmware to R4DB005 , the contact menu has no slide effect when i enter , also in file manager if i click "more" option to a picture it displays the option menu without effect , jsut instant. Is this to you too or the firmware update did this .. if it's soo , maybe R4DB005 is not good.
