Wahoo! With no effort at all this evening I managed to get this tasty deal:

- 400 anynet anytime minutes
- 1000 sms/mms
- data deal
all for £30 squids a month

- free K800i and
- credit to my account

Order number online and already at the fulfillment stage.

Yum!

12 or 18 month?

12 months - would never touch an 18 month tariff

But order still at fulfillment as apparently they never actually had them in stock they're still taking pre-orders! No wonder no-one on O2 has got it yet.

Someone else here got one from cpw today on O2 and it is branded. I hope mine wont be when it arrives tomorrow.

Are there any online shops or anywhere doing a deal similar to "02 100 Online" : 100 mins xnetwork, 500 txts + 1MB downloads for £25
I dont mind paying a bit for the phone (was prepared to pay £50).

Its just that for some reason O2 turned me down (never done anything to give me a bad credit rating, so am hoping it was just a mistake)

I was on the Online 200, £30 a month (200x-talk mins, 500txt) and the phone was free!

I've changed however to the Online off-peak 500, on 18month contract. 750 x-talk mins off-peak and 750 txt, for £25! I've sussed i can actually phone USA with my free minutes, so my g/f will be pleased... 12 hours of free talktime a month. Although it was £49 upgrade for the K800i phone. However still works out the same cost for the year, and cheaper if you take into account the 18months.

Can you guys help me please?
I went into a Phones4U today and had a play with the K800i, unfortunatly they only had one and it was on Vodafone so was completley branded.
I am going back tomorrow as they will have them on O2 and Three, which is the better network in your eyes? O2 or Three?
I can't get 3G in my little village so that's a mute point, but which is better customer service?
I am with Orange now and have been for 9 years but want to change as my 9 years of service get's me nothing with upgrade deals which I think stinks and I want to keep my number so a new contract on Orange is out.

Thanks in advance

Well I've never had any major gripes with O2 customer service and I've been a contract customer since 2001. When it came to upgrading/cancelling my contract a few months ago, I looked long and hard at all the other UK networks and decided nothing compared well to O2. Vodafone was pricey and whilst their stop the clock service was good, it was only with an 18 month contract. AND they do horrible things to a phone menu. Mobile TV would have been fun, but only for the first 20 minutes. T-Mobile again offered competitive deals but with an 18 month contract. Orange, I have an irrational dislike of and didn't really consider. And Three, well I couldn't deal with their walled garden because I need Gmail and Betfair access.

To me, O2 were a cut above. I know this is partly due to being an existing customer and being offered an excellent deal to upgrade, but service, coverage etc has always been good.

For the record, I got the following deal with O2. Free K800i upgrade. 12 month contract. 500 anytime any network video or voice minutes. 500 texts. For £25 a month.

Thanks Tednol, I gave Orange a ring and although they won't be releasing the phone for a couple of weeks, at the moment a month and a half before my contract runs out it'll cost me £150. The guy then said after August 6th when my contract ends it'll be free, I said a free K800I upgrade, he then said no it depends on the phone you want????? Sounds to me like a 50 pound charge at least I think, no thanks.

Date of Delivery: Next working day (excluding some remote areas e.g. non-UK mainland, where delivery can take between 3-5 working days)

Please note: orders placed on a weekend or bank holiday will require a further day for delivery. For example, for most postcodes, an order placed on a Sunday will not be delivered until Tuesday at the earliest.

Well,

my deal is 1000 minutes, 500 texts for £51 including VAT..... and the phone is free.

It hels that I'm O2 Select and my normal bill is about £200 over the past 6-7 years I guess
