I think to check the FW on the headset, have the headset connected to the phone and then check it from there (while it's conncected, go to the "MORE" option). Not positive on that, but I was told that it is possible to check the FW on a BT headset.
GlobalMob is pretty reputable as a lot of folks that live in SoCal go to them. I think that they're an authorized SE Service Center. | |

How do you know it is the headset? I do not know if you have been keeping up, but just about everyone with a k750i, z800, and one other phone (can't remember) is having BT problems with others using different headsets. My HBH-660 connects to my Mac and NEVER drops the connection. It connects to my wife's Nokia 6680 and never disconnects, so this in itself says that it not headset related. The problem in most cases lies with the phone.

N82(YES), iPhone 3G, Shure es530, Nikon D300, more stuff. No more SE stuff, why am I still here? |

I know what you mean about BT connections being dropped. I had the same problem with my HBH-660 and my K700.
But all I offered was how to check FW on a headset and where to get it upgraded to a newer FW.
But to help those folks that constantly dropped BT connections between their headset and phone, try this.
The HBH 660 is only meant to be paired to one device at a time. If you experience problems, remove the pairing from the phone (delete the 660 from your paired devices). Turn off the phone, wait a while and turn it back on. Set the 660 to pairing mode and use your phone to pair it with the headset.
This usually helps with having a stable BT connection between the phone and headset. I've done this and have no problems with it whatsoever.
The connection tends to get unstable when either the headset is being paired with another phone or device, or the phone has been flashed.

Can an HBH660 be reset like the HBH65? I remember the HBH65 can be reset and all other previous pairings deleted.
