kingcool88 - Tbh i find it rather suprising that you even needed to ask someone else if it sounded like a scam.

Hes selling a phone thats not out, for a knock down price, using pictures that have been on the internet for months and promising you the world.

Its perfectly obvious its a scam, simply by his manner. Scammers get so greedy that they'll do anything to sell you their product. He promises to send you 5 phones, when you tell him you dont have the money he tries to get you to get the money somehow and use a friend. He is taking advantage of the "Joe Average" consumer's gullibility.

Dont fall for it. Ive had a scammer like this one try to force me to part with money - except it was face to face. He got a good old fashioned kicking for his efforts by myself and present friends.

Well, where mobile phones are concerned its always best to be cautious. Even if he did send the phones, theres no guarantee they'll work, they might be dummy handsets or even have their IMEI blocked internationally.

If the deal smells fishy, then chances are its a bloody great dead whale you wont want to get lumbered with.

That picture is old.

The final W800 has the walkman logo on the music button, different headphones, (very slightly), and comes with a blue Sandisk MS Pro Duo.

Scammer.

um... the final doesn't have a walkman logo on the music button...

Look at the operator's websites.

In the images showing the phones that they are going to retail they have the walkman logo in the center button.

Now if those phones are not the final product I dunno what is, for example, Orange:

Just making a point.

Also, that is not a final, as it isn't from a shop retailing the phone, because it is a phone website reviewing a proto to show everyone. It is not out yet if you haven't noticed.

You might also go to the SE web site and have a look.
Definitely the walkman logo on the button.
