I talked to a guy on msn who wants to sell phoes to me, 5 phones 750 euros, This is our konvolog: M= THE SELLER !

Never Pay with Western Union, He's a definite scammer, ask him if he accepts paypal, that covers you upto £500. I still wouldnt trust him, my mates have been scammed in the past. The deal is always too good to be true. Just think about it, he is selling 5 phones pre release for way under the RRP
Just tell him to piss off actually

A sure sign of someone to avoid.
Seriously, I would really avoid any such propositions made over such a communication channel.
Its likely he could just as well be sitting in a mud hut somewhere waiting for payday.

I'm not saying that the guy don't have the phones,
but that's not the package You will see in stores in two weeks.
Also have a look at the PHF's, that's not the way they will look like.
However, if I remember it right, that may be the package used on the presentation, perhaps he illegaly got some of those. |

This is a well known scam which is used on e-bay all the time. Definitely don't trust this person.

Edit - I miss read the initial post. It doesn't appear to be the scam which is used on ebay where a third person is used and the cheque bounces. Nevertheless, this still sounds like a dodgy deal to me...personally I definitely wouldnt do it.

That picture is old.
The final W800 has the walkman logo on the music button, different headphones, (very slightly), and comes with a blue Sandisk MS Pro Duo.
Scammer.

Provided he doesn't know your personal details, scam him right back! Get him to send the package to a P.O.Box, then you'll pay him only when sure it's the real deal. As for Western Union, noooo... Else it's bye-bye cash...
