A simple trick according to the explanation of gamma settings

transfer these images to your K750i

they look fantastic on the screen, isn't it!!?

what i did is i edited the image with Adobe Photoshop 6.0:

1. just set the brightness to a lower level with photoshop (minus 20 -> suggested value) until it looks dark in your computer screen.

2. set the contrast to a higher level (+20).

what looks dark on the computer, will look stunning on the K750i.

3. then SAVE AS the image into *.PNG -> it's the most important thing since *.JPG files always look blurry in the phone! -> according to this topic i've made before: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=97379

Please, read the topic.

Note: The brightness and contrast level I wrote is just exact only if you use Adobe Photoshop 6.0, too. If you use another version of Photoshop or another software, you must find the correct setting. All I can say, if you decrease the brigthness level - say - by 24, you have to increase the contrast level by the same number, i.e. 24.

Then, don't forget to save it as *.PNG. If you don't believe, try to save the image in *.JPG and *.PNG, then transfer both to your phones, then you'll see what I mean.

The screen color itself.... it's amazing!
The gradation is smoother than S700i. Really... it's bright, it's contrast, it's smooth, it's perfect white. The color is no doubt richer than any SE phones ever.

A big "BUT"... But, it only occurs after you set those pictures into the right brightness/contrast setting. Needs a little more effort, but it's worth it seeing the screen so perfect. I've been there so I know how it's like.

Yes, the screen is fabulous, the brighter among all SE phone - by far.
The proof is games display. Except the "faded" Super Real Tennis, all games are shown brighter and better in K750i, even when it's compared to S700i display. Just install more and more high graphic games, you'll see what I mean by saying that K750i screen is in fact fantastic. The color is so bright and still has high contrast.

and they are not rich in colors as the used to be on k700, and there are huge pixels all over the pics....

because it's JPG!
simply save the image as *.PNG, there gone those huge pixels.
it won't be perfect 'till you correct the gamma setting of course.

Ever you guys noticed why the Eternal theme can be looked so sharp, but can't my downloaded image be looked as sharp? It's simply because the images used to create the Eternal theme is all in PNG format while your own downloaded image is in JPG.

Guys, we have a phone with a fabulous display. All we have to do is just edit those images.

I learn, do some trial and error until I get the best combination of both settings. Sure you can do this, too.

And don't forget to save the image as *.PNG. Hehehe.

Anyway, here they are, more sample images you can transfer to your K750i. They look stunning on the phone screen. You won't regret that you have this phone, guys. The display is beautiful.

Noone else interested? I think it's an important issue. Nobody wants to have their 262k color phone to be worse than the 65k one. [addsig]

yeah that microsoft editor works......Also, I restarted photoshop and opened a new rgb color image and put a picture in there, adjusted it's brightness etc..and now it lets me save it as .png...i have no idea what i did earlier that made it not want to save..anyway it works now so thats good. Ill save the image as both jpg and png, upload them on my k750i and post my results....

Ok i compared the differences between the same image saved in jpg and in png....and wow there is a noticeable difference. The ones saved in png do not have small grainy spots here and there, and are a little smoother. Here are a couple images i made for my k750i..check them out, make sure you save them in .png !!!!!

Andriana Lima ..its looks so clear on the screen!!
