The MP3 player has terrific sound quality. I was however, a little disappointed in the size limitations though. I can fit about 8 songs on the disc....

You are definitely NOT right!! The sound is really OK!!!

What software do you need to get mp3s from cd? Cos i have 3 prodigy albums on cd and i want to put them on pc as mp3 to transfer to the player. Also, where can i get the mp3 pro compression software from as the tracks on the album are huge. Thanks in advance

Take www.audiograbber.com to grab the music, get the Radium or Fraunhofer Codec from www.doom9.org. And forget Mp3Pro with the HPM 10. It won't work. Better buy a bigger MMC Card.

It should take all MMC Cards up to 128 Mb. But it takes NO SD CARDS!!!!!

Can you give me some examples of those sites? I haven't found anything, especially here in the states. Thanks!

What about Ebay?? I got mine from there for 39 € (about 39 $), which was quite cheap, i think. The 128 MMC Card was even more expensive (103 €/$)

I got one this morning plus a 128mb MMC. It's pretty good. But don't bother with the included mmc reader. It has to attached to a parallel port and a PS/2 port to work, and the drivers/software can be a pain.

I got a tiny USB MMC / SD card reader. Its a lot faster and needs no drivers on windows 2000/XP.

The only problem is it doesn't really match my nice new T68i in design, and seems to come off rather easily when in your pocket.

http://www.mp3pro.ws looks not bad for mp3pro. But remember: it won't work with the HPM 10.

and here you get the drivers, that work under WinXP:
ftp://ftp.scmmicro.com/dm/drivers/Ppmmc.zip

... adn a tool to erase old drivers:
ftp://ftp.scmmicro.com/dm/drivers/pnperase.zip

Have FUN!!

Thunda: Still lookin where to buy from? £34.37 (GBP) http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=HPM-10

Also MusicMacth Jukebox comes with the pack for ripping CD tracks to MP3 files.

May have a few problems installing the driver if using XP, but that can be sorted, get back to you on that one
