Not if your on a plane it wont, you'll be able to use your phone as an mp3 player with maybe some other functionality too without having to switch it off, as long as you can convince the flight attendants that is...

Can I use that EMMA III program to reapply the firmware to my k750i? I want to see if that solves the crashing problems. |

Only authorised users can use EMMA, its not meant for the general public but I guess it shouldn't be too long, maybe a month or two before SEUS is available for the K750

I very much doubt if EMMA could do this conversion. But if they are the same hardware then i am sure a mor advanced tool could do it. But definatly not with your DCU-60 cables, 'FOTA' is only good for firmware update only on these new phones so you would need a new cable.
At least that is the current situation. Things often and probably will change........

I would think its possible if the hardware are the same... The only difference I can see with the phones are the astetics... |

About EMMA III, sure you can use - everyone can use, i am sure SEMC developers will be very grateful for the 1000's of Pounds/dollars/euros/whatever they will get from each of you.

I would be very suprised if there were very many similarities on the inside of the two phones...
They share the same screen, maybe the same camera, but I think you'll find many other differences inside.
When I was a Honda Service Technician, it was easy to assume that many Honda products shared common parts but that was not the case. Honda develop thier cars/bikes/motors/etc to the n-th degree to suit individual markets and the same would be true of Sony Ericsson. |

becuase he can! aint that the basics of Sony Ericsson users!?
why do we need to have a car we can control with bluetooth or why do we need a laserpointer we can attach to our phone!? because we can!
