well hello there! i hope that this thread isn't just for the 3 of you
so bout the topic :
i feel the same way too. about 5 months ago when u enter esato everything was bout the k700. now everything is bout the k750 which is quite normal just cuz it's a new fone and much better than it's older brother
but u know there's one thing i prefer bout the 700. that's the design. the 750's display has been moved up and it looks like it's smaller and in my opinion uglier. i think that k700 is still one of the most beautiful fones out there. and although i would really like a k750 ( but unfortunately can't afford it ) i still love my k700 just because it's still the great fone it used to be! when i got it 5 months ago ( upgraded from a Siemens C45 ) i fell in love with it and i can say i have been since then.
if i ever get the chance to have a k750 w800 or any other fone i would be really glad not to sell my k700! and i'm pretty sure that most of the people who have upgraded to k750 from k700 feel nostalgy for their old fone!
so people, love your k700's! |

i love my K700i because its the only good electronic choice i've ever made! and every other electronic that i've ever gotten has never worked for me, but my 700 loved me first! dont tell my b-friend he might get jealous, jk. i just got bluetooth today!:) i have no idea of what it is or does, but i have it. i love the themes folder and the fact that real music comes out of my phone. i can have more than 10 bookmarks and that is awesome! since im always,(and i mean always) on line somewhere. except when im at work and even then sometimes i forget to log out. and you.......? |

i never liked k7 design, that fone - just as the most se models - never amazed me.however, i do understand and can share the feeling to have a fone - or even more ones - and like it. a well designed fone with a usefriendly menu and helpful features is a good partner in the everyday life. so all i can say, if u really like a fone, keep it aslong u can, charge it systematically in the same way to keep the battery in a good condition and support the brand as much as u can, advertise it on any way, suggest and recommend it for all your friends, cos a background for every brand are users, users. so tell to everybody, come to esato, enjoy the community and be true to your faith. your base is the k7, so i may wish all of u more happy hours with it in the next future aswell.

I agree with u guys, I sold my K7 last week and it was sad seeing it leave. I really loved that phone, more then any other phones I have owned.
I had a couple SE phones 5-6 years ago but then I fell to the dark side for a few years(Nokia). Late last summer I bought a S65.. it looked nice on paper but thats my worst choice EVER. I sold it after a couple of weeks and bought a K700i.. and god I loved that phone. Best design on a mobile ever with crystal clear display.
I think my new K750i has a great design too but K700i was even better.

Thanks for the advice but after reading the topic of,"what bugs have you found in the K750i" i really dont know if i want to switch. I just got my 700i a month ago. Id rather wait until they fix all of the glitches first. And plus i have had a prob with this phone at all. With my luck i would get one that had a glitch in it! But i do want to know why you think its better. Please let me know. Thanx cris |

I never really like the K700.
- The menu's would slow down
- The camera was absolutely cr*p.
- The keypad was absolutely cr*p.
- The battery life was in some cases less than a day.
- It hurt your using it because the earpiece was right on the top edge meaning it dug into your ear and became painful after using it for about ten minutes.
- The top of the joypad seemed too big and I couldn't get a decent grip with my thumb.
I sold mine within a month. SE have addressed all the above with the K750i which is why I like it. A few things to improve the K750i though:-
- Earpiece not loud enough.
- Screen not big enough (small niggle).
- No contrast control (screen is a little washed out).
- Camera cover slides open too easily. |

I have had a lot of phones. But since christmas, a moto v180 which just wasnt enough. Then i ended up going through 3 6800's because after so much wap use the go to button would break after a month. And so them i went back to a moto c650 because au the time i really wanted to be part of the whole camera experience. But waping on that sucked. So then i decided to get the nokia 7610 because i thought that it would be a good phone cuz i didnt read a bad thing about it. And iv probably would've been if the guy |

If the guy wouldnt've Have sold me a phone that liked being broken. (It never turned on so i didnt even experience any part of what i read about.) So i took it as a sign to not get a nokia again and decided to put my money into a phone that i had heard great user reports from which is my baby, my K700i! And its my first S.E. and i love it i dont regret it one bit and i dont think i'll be buying another brand ever again. Wow i cant believe that that took 2 posts. |
