hey can anyone tell me the approx cost of getting the firmware update from a SE service centre for my k700i????

Im not sure because ive always updated under warranty, thought im guessin around £10 - probably dependant on service centre.

I've had no problems with mine. Had it for 6 months.

Quick share sticker glue becomes loose in hot weather, I superglued mine on and it hasn't budged since.

No problems with battery, superb 4 day standby time. MP3 via headphones is fantastic, better than my MD, lol. I also found out a neat trick recently, I'm sure it's been found before but for anyone else,

instead of going into WAP before being able to select a bookmark, simply create a contact with nothing but a name and a URL in the website part. Go into your phonebook as you normally would, and press the joystick or left soft-key and it logs onto wap and takes you directly there.

Just discovered a new feature. If you lock the key pad in media player mode, then the vol+ and vol- keys can be used to select next or previous tracks if they are pressed and held for 1-2 secs.!!!

Se serv centre in mumbai charges Rs 550..
