Now this surely is a first. Awarding a cell which has'nt been released yet ? ? ? Does this mean it is better then the N90 ? (camera wise at least) After all neither cells have hit the stores. (both are due in the next few weeks or so) Lets wait . . . and see . . .

SE comes with very funny world records in the cellular world this year ! First company which have managed to lose just over 60% profit in a single quarter (first) , first company ever to have cellphones declared 'winners of the year' when the year is not even half way, first company to winn a title with a cell not even on the shelfs ! I think this is a good one ;-) Greetings from South Africa. Mario.

I think the point is, it does not matter whether the phone is released or not. The people who judged it were probably sent a pre-release K750i to test out.
They probably didnt mention the N90 for two reasons. The first being they probably never got their hands on one to test, and two, if they did get one to test they realised the N90 takes pretty poor quality pictures.
I like the N90 alot (im thinking about buying one to accompany my K750i when they're both out), but the camera is nowhere near as good as the k750i's.

N90 cannot be taken to account as it is not yet fcc approved. Its just out of the factory.Once approved i think the se will have a hard time.Carl zeiss is famous for their precision,of course better than normal optics or else the sony handycams wouldn't be so popular

Something tells me - both uses exactly the same camera assembly lenses and all. The video part (digital) is more advanced in the N90 thou. (higher resolution)

i don't think the n90 has autofocus or a macro setting like the k750. in the hands of a good photographer, focusing on one part of a scene can create very nice photos (as you can see on this site). i do wish the k750 video had a low and high resolution setting. |
