It must be a different configuration then.
When I set up the alert a little gold bell appears next to the contact and when they come online the message tone sounds.
The S700i came out a lot later than that Z1010 so it is probably a newer version. |

Hi everybody!
Is anyone able to tell me how to configure the settings for "Yahoo Messenger" for example?
Or where could I find the settings (in particular which is the "domain" and "server")?

although I have the settings from yamigo I cannot get it to connect on my V/Z800 anyway

It's alright- the Z800i has just been released in Australia a few days ago, and I plan to have one in the next 1-2 months!
