Great news, jamesliu, where did you read that? I might just go for it, especially after reading here that T-Mobile will soon be offering MMS on their network (before Cingular or AT&T)

I got the same amazon deal. At first they had it showing the phone for -$150. 2 x $200 rebates and a $50. I print the rebates before they took them down, but after re-reading the second $200 rebate it says between 9/4 - 9/16. So it won't work o well still a good deal. Bestbuy, circuit city, etc are also selling the phone with att service for $25-$50 w/ 1yr $40 a month contract.

BTW anyone using Tmobile in washington having problems with the T-Zone service? Mine gives me an error. "gprs failed" then "Wrong Acess point name (APN)"

I had thaty problem a few times in areas where the signal was very weak. Like fading from 1 bar to nothing at all then 1 bar and back and forth. When I drove a few blocks the signal was better then I loged in to Tzones with no problem. Make sure the signal where u are is decent and steady as well.

I called the support line and they told me the problem was common for T68i's from amazon because they where not setup properly. The tech support guy walked me through the process of setting it up on my phone and it now works.

Funny how all the stories and rumors vary. I guess I'll pitch in my info:

A true phone-geek at T-Mobile tech support (I was sooooo lucky to get him) told me that T-Mobile would have the SE T68i during October.

I guess we'll all see which is true when we do, eh?

I am a T-Mobile dealer in Nashville, TN and we just had our 4th quarter meeting and California and Nevada are the only markets that are going to carry the T68i but we are selling the T300 for $149.99 with a $50.00 rebate (Mail-in) but the rebate is only for new customers but it does come with the camera which is priced at $189.80 at http://www.buywirelessnow.com/sonyericsson/PhoneAccessories.asp?cat=Entertainment&phone=ERICSSON+T68i but I got my T68i from an old ericsson rep and I love it. btw I am a data specialist for the company and the APN is internet2.voicestream.com for customers without VPN access and internet3.voicestream.com for customers with VPN.

I live in Florida and recently seen the T68i at my local T-Mobile dealer in my local mall (and I live in a small county). However, they were only offering a $50 rebate, so I ordered mine from Amazon.com while they offered the $250 rebates ($40 after rebate). I got my phone about 2 days ago and have been just getting use to it.

I, too, had problems getting my online with my phone and called T-Mobiles customer service. They were really friendly and got me setup in a few minutes - been downloading logos and such from Esato

Now I'm trying to find out what the newest Firmware is for the US T68i models so I know if I need to search for a way to upgrade. If anyone knows the current Firmware number, I'd appreciate the help!

I also got my T68i from Amazon recently. I had the same problems initially with the GPRS settings, but T-Mobile customer service set me straight on that.

But I can't get the e-mail client to work. Anybody else have luck with this? Any tricks to this?
