R1b? That is truly an ancient firmware, one of the buggiest t610 firmware available. You really have to upgrade your software.

mine is running on r1s and still running good and strong (and i was surprised to find there are bugs in r3 and r4 which r1s and r2s didnt had) .

No problem if its gray. Se service will just charge u around 500- 550 rs for the fw upgrade.

That sucks yaar ! Why should they charge for fw upgrades ? Motorola does it for free on their phones even if its grey. The guys at the service centre do not question if your phones grey or white . |

I think they do it free within the warranty period. With moto im not surprised, they do it free for gray phones. I guess thats one way of trying to get more people to buy moto phones:-)
