The firmware in your phone is not a generic SE firmware. It has been custom made by an operator. Such phones can only be upgraded to another version of the branded software using SE Update Service. However, davinci will allow you to upgrade your firmware to the original generic SE version.

is dis the file i need to update my firmware K500_FS_EU1_R2AE033 and K500_Main_EU1_R2AE033.. if not what is it? when i try to read my phone on davinci its say i need CID 29 flash files.. hope thats helps.. pls. help me. thanks.. |

I think you need the MAIN files. (Am not sure, you might wanna wait till some1 else comes along) or if you have the spirit, try the "main".

hi again... u said my phone is branded ( like what i said when my phone shutdown its shows a slide EIN VERBENDIT E PLUS), and so what operator is my phone or brand... pls, reply.. thanks |

Dunno. Generic phones does not have such a shutdown screen.

i just updated my k500i firmware from thw sony ericsson website, but it need a at lease P800 or P900 docking to update the phone! i borrow it from my boss
