thats weird...
over here ive only seen the s700 for sale once... but i have seen the s710 a few times... i didnt know we had edge hahaha, but it only seems to be ofr tmobile US |

i dnt like 3g at all my mum is on that network with the nec 36i6 or sumtink like dat & i like the features of the v800 but its 2 BIG! |

I dont understand your post, but gangstagreek and i are in the UK, so we dont get EDGE. Instead we have UMTS, otherwise known more by the term 3G.
I dont know what they have on Mars Glenny, probably still using 1G there ? 
gangstagreek, why dont you like 3G ? just because you didnt like the handsets that used 3G doesnt mean the whole concept of 3G is bad too.

Strange. Se doesn't sell EDGE handsets where people use them! Here in India for instance. Not a single EDGE handset from SE!

Is it expected to become available in the UK?
By the way, the UK DOES have EDGE; Orange offer it if I remember correctly...

I use my S710 as a modem with my laptop when I'm away from home.
The speed is better than dial up.
116 kbps.
On wap the download speeds are so fast for ringtones, java downloads ect..... it will make your head spin......
Browsing esato through wap is a delight. I like the K750, however no EDGE on K750 may deter me.
Maybe there will be another version on the S series with a 3.0 MP and EDGE?

edge is just a stupid thing that us americans came up with just to be different from everyone else. Why doesn't everyone just use 3g? By the time edge is fully implemented in the U.S super 3g will already be out in europe. We are always behind over here in the U.S and I really don't understand why. |
