Oh i dont know, you could write up on how Bluetooth came about, the state it is in now, and how it is used for other things (bluejacking, "toothing") than what it was originally intended for.
Im sure it would make an interesting project.

Going strong with the projecdt, hit a stumbling brick. Trying too proove BT kicked off or at least encouraged the wi-fi thing is this right or am i just jumping to conclusions? |

Not really. Yes, Bluetooth and wi-fi come from the same notion of wireless connectivity, and use the same 2.4ghz band (or whatever they call it ) but wi-fi is aimed at providing much higher bandwith.
Bluetooth was only ever conceived to transmit small amounts of data. Only after its introduction did the Bluetooth SIG start to develop it further.
Wi-fi was and always has been aimed at providing high speed high bandwith wireless data transmission. AFAIK there is no link between the two being related as a sort of evolution.
