first of all.... congrat on the setup for dial-up using bluetooth.
once bluetooth connection established within a service there is no way u can use another service because it's set to respond to only 1 service and 1 device at the same times unless u disconnect the existing service.

fu1at,
I didn't try connecting for two services at the same time, i.e. modem connection and PC connection via bluetooth. Anyways, below are some of my observations:
In establishing BT modem connection to access internet via GPRS, I have noticed that there is no need for any COM ports to be enbaled in "Phone Monitor Options"(As I described earlier). Remember all COM ports are already unchecked in "Phone connection link".
Now while I was doing hit and trial on this, I discovered that only COM5 and COM6(on my PC these ports are assinged for 3COM bluetooth serial client and host) are needed to be checked in "Phone connection link" to make PC connect through bluetooth, to use SE PC Suite for software installation.
Am I right in concluding that enabling or disabling COM ports in "Phone Monitor Options" in Control panel has no affect? What do you think?
Will wait for your reply, cheers. |
