The pics were stored in the camera.
You couldn't really see what they looked like before you saw them on a PC.
/// had a dedicated area on their site to store the pics as well. You uploaded the pics through WAP.
I had it all demonstrated at ///'s old offices here in Norway and was really impressed back then. Thinking of it now it was actually very impressing the was tecnology has developed over the last few years.
I had a glance in to the future back then. Now that future is here.

I had a t68m(i) with MCA20, the camera had its own memory where the pictures were stored when you took them. You had the choice when viewing the pictures to transfer them to the phones memory. Ah those were the days. Picture quality was really good when the pictures were viewed on a pc.

Its called progress. That would be like comparing a Model T Ford with a new Mondeo, same principal just evolved. You wouldn't have the S700i if someone hadn't decided to create camera attachments for phones in the first place.

true but, a model t ford is a classic very rare one of the first cars, this car paved the way for others ,
while a mondeo is a piece of crap, ugly slow and unreliable wel for me anyways.

the MCA-20/25 took some really good pics. even today most phones can't take better pics in VGA mode.

Actually, you are wrong. With the right light and distance to the object the pictures are comparable indeed.
I've got a few pics on my PC upstairs, taken with the MCA-20 and T68, that are very good. Even my dad, who is a brilliant photographer, was impressed when he first saw them.
(My son is sleeping in that room upstairs so I'll dig them out at a later stage)

I had that on my 520. I remember ow funny it looked; it turned a long slim phone in to monster. It orked OK but it wasn't really something you bragged about.
When I got the T68m it was a totally different story!
