I agree that P800 is much better than 7650, and you won't make a mistake if you buy it. P800 IS a great phone but SE is just ruining everything by not being open enough to the developer community. They think people will buy the P800 just because it has great specs. Sure, some of them will (like you) but not the real business users. It is far more important for them to have usable apps on their device than to have a device with great numbers and acronyms in the specs.
Oh, and btw, P800 is a little bigger than 7650 so if 7650 is too big for you than...

Symbian is an open OS, but it's not open source. The SDK itself (from Symbian) is free but SE decided to bundle it with MetroWerks CodeWarrior IDE, which is not free. And they (SE), for some reason, won't let people download just the SDK. A very strange and stupid decision, by the way. Don't they want people developing apps for their phone?

> Looking forward to seeing you app for the P800!!!

Don't hold your breath...

I like P800 but would think twice before i buy one, as with Faca it is due to the pricely sdk.

1. i myself will not be able to get my hands on it.
2. P800 will sure gets let's popolar, due to the (gonna be) limited apps which runs on it
3. as the developer needs to pay for the sdk, we could expect less freeware apps available
4. think... how Palm gains it's popularity? ain't those freeware apps gets most of the credits?

What is P800 without freeware apps' support? An old casio organiser in contrast to palm pilot?

Just my 2 cents.
