Just came back from the upgrade center as a "proud" owner of R2A and it looks good.

Specially when you upgraded from R1B.

I especially apreciate that al the settings have been kept.

I am sick and tired of all the rumours and misfacts that are going around here.

Is there ANYONE here who knows the technical specs on the T68.
And by that i DONT mean the lifetime of the battery and that s***.
I mean hardware facts , like the size of the memory in KB. The speed of the processor, what kind of OS it is built on. How wide the bus are etc.

now that would be fact, and with that information at least i would be able to know if there is any possibilites to put MMS ( wich btw i dont really care of if it is overpriced... who wants it then ?) and other features.

So if anyone knows... mail me.
thx in advance

Cheers

I'm guessing that there is a lot of folks reading this forum, but I don't think they are allowed to publish the information they possess.

To get this kind of information I would advise you to send a mail to someone at the Ericsson Press Office or something.

For those who believe that T68 will not support or that T68i supports MMS please visit:http://www.sonyericssonmobile.com/T68/
It says clearly that MMS will be supported by T68 as soon as providers offer this new capability! Please: stop confusing people!

Orka, you are right!!! We are all confuse because of so many humors regarding mms capability of t68. T68 are mms capable!!! For a while, let us all enjoy it's features until the MMS are already supported by our network providers. Once it is Network supported, then a s*** R2B software(for MMS application[???]) are not yet released by sony ericsson, I guess the tragedy happened at New York last Sept.11, will happen to SonyEricsson's buildings. jst kidding....

i upgraded the phone today and the differences i see are the icons in the call list, faster typing sms and entering menus, better colors in games, new snakebyte settings with the 789 code,my call listing option was off, gprs is the same,it now supports wbmp images also, mic is a bit less sensitive.....as for the MMS upgrade ALL T68 will be able to upgrade their phone to MMS (the T68i is the same as the T68 with a R2B upgrade),its all commercial!!
