I would've thought so, try it, you haven't anything to lose by charging, to be honest although they state that you should have a full battery when you do upgrade (and I wouldn't recomend not taking their advice) i didn't use a lot during the update and reckon it would've completed the update with a half full charged battery.
If the harms already done and having a go at the update again doesn't work then you haven't lost anything.
If it doesn't work your gunna have to speak to your service provider.
Sorry can't be of more help dude !

Debranding....gutsy move dude !! shame it didn't work !
This site will open your eyes to all things and it's easy to want to do the same sort of things that have been successfully done by other members here.
We all learn from our mistakes, bet you wouldn't try and flash language and firmware at the same time again..... don't let it put you off. All you can do is read plenty to make sure your happy before attempting anything else. This is where this site and others come into their own.
A big plus to come out of this is that if someone else reads this thread prior to doing an o2 debranding they 'won't' be selecting both options at the same time either, and you will have saved them a lot of hassle by discussing this here. Now thats a good thing !

Yeah, next time gotta ask someone who's actually done it before to get more information. I don't even dare update my phone without getting confirmation from someone's that done it before |

Sadly, I have the same problem. Tried to flash the firmware and the language at the same time. Got the Windows dreaded blue screen, the process stopped, and now the phone DOESN'T POWER ON!!!
Needless to say, I'm a little freaked out that I ruined this brand new phone. After reading jagger's posting and replies, i still cannot see a way to repair this problem. I read about clicking on the repair tab in multiserver, but there is no repair tab in v1.45 and i can't seem to find any earlier versions...
Can anyone please help?!?!?!?!?
Thx... |
