Im only 17, but i like to think im "with it" on retro games. The fact that the list above brought back so many "childhood" memories is testament to this. My favourites list goes as follows: TV Tennis (Pong) Wing Commander (1) Commander Keen Lemmings (1) Worms (1) Dark Forces ("Set blasters on full!!" ) Duck Hunter (NES) Ninja Turtles (Co-op on SNES) There must be more, but im at a loss... OMG how could i forget, my all-time favourite point-and-click, "Kings Quest IV". God that takes me back... Nick

i cant believe the 2 greatest games of all time havent been mentioned!
hunchback and chuckie egg.
@gigs
i cant believe you mentioned stunt car racer! i loved that game.
there was an amiga format coverdisk that had this great platform game called doody on it, did you play that?
do you remember bart simpson vs the space mutants and captain planet? yes you might have guessed i got an a500+ with the cartoon classics pack!
help me out here, there was a series of games with an egg as the main character, the only game i can think of now was one where you had to push blocks of ice to kill the baddies and collect fruit on your way round, the object was to rescue his friends from a castle. what was he called?
edit: if we are gonna talk publishing houses then surely ocean deserve a mention. are they still around?

If memory serves, it was a puzzle game, and i remember one of the puzzles involved getting the right topping on some guys pizza.... And yes, ocean deserve a mention at least. In my Apple II I had a speech synthesizer called SAM (Software Automatic Mouth or something like that). We made it speek our language in an american accent - gave us a lot of fun.
