I guess it depends on how retro 'retro' is.... but my favourite older games are:

-Doom (still makes me jump when playing it now!)
-Command & Conquer
-Perfect Dark on the N64 (James Bond clone - excellent 2 player mode)
-Tie Fighter (Won't run on Win 2000 )

And finally a shameless plug for the Playstation 1 I'm selling on Ebay - ideal for playing all those old skool ps1 games on (link's in my sig - have a punt!)

Zak Mckraken and the alien mind benders was also a good point 'n' click classic.

Space harrier is worth a mention also

I have;

Sega - Master system2, Mega drive, Saturn, Dreamcast and gamegear.
Nintendo - NES, SNES, N64

Atari 2600:

Pole Positiom
Pheonix
Galaga
Battlezone
Pacman (highest score was 63000 or so and took all afternoon to get, after defeating the whole family )

C= 64:

Elevator
Impossible Mission (Stay a while.. Stay FOREVER ah hah hah hah haaa)
Chopper Lifter
Pole Position
Manic Mansion
Boulderdash
Arkanoid
Ikari Warriors

BBC:

Turrican (all of them)
Super cars 1 and 2
Wings
Alienbreed (all but 3d)
Ikari Warriors
Chaos Engine
Gods
Xenon 2 - megablast (First game ever to use a commercial music track?)
Monkey Island 1 and 2
Beneath a steal sky
Lemmings
Worms
Space Crusade
Arkanoid 1 and 2
Defender of the Crown
Warlords (the original )
F/A 18 Interceptor (The original )
Populous 2
Powermonger
Flood
Syndicate (the only game that was ever better on the PC for some things ;P)
Shadow of the BEast 1-3
California Games
Winter Games
Stunt Car Racer
Battle Squadren
R-type 1 and 2
Sim City (kinda.. I liked the original, the maxis got all silly )
Civilisation

Oh gawd how could i forget Project X

And so many more which don't come ot mind right now heh.

Come to think of it really, most anything the Bitmap bothers touched turn to gold. Pysgnosis too. Gremlin always made quality games, and EA used ot be good in the day as well. Team 17 were gods

PC

Hmm I guess Doom is about the only "retro" game on the PC. Pretty much anything pre doom would have been a retro game now.

Speccy

Special mention of Manic Mansion on the Speccy, even though it was tape loaded it was a ton of fun.

Arcade:
Paperboy
Gauntlet
Tron
Sidewinder
Defender
Ajax
Narc
Chelnov - the nuclear running man
Moon Patrol
Bubble Bobble
Star wars - both the original wireframe games and the new one out where you lightsabre fight, its nifty!
1943

--

Hmm bout rounds it up for me
@masseur:
