are u gettng charged for it... its working on myine... hutch karnataka... i send msgs 2days back...tillnow they didnt charge me... |

It depends on the network. Here in Estonia with operator EMT we were also able to use GPRS as carrier, but they still charged as regular sms fee. It seemed to me that sms was sent faster that way. I used the possibility for some months but then EMT announced that GPRS as a carrier (for SMS) won't work anymore, and it really stopped working.
All in all everyone should check how is with his/her operator, so they wouldn't have to regret later...

Hey guys... I'm on Rogers Wireless network here in Toronto and I switched my settings from GSM to GPRS, the messages went no problem. I dunno though if I'll be charged or not... can't wait till the end of the month to get the bill... Then I'll start going nuts on it!
