@mario2002 : Dude, sorry to contridict both of you, The N7710 uses the new Nokia Series 90 UI. It as of now already has a very large developers community, indeed larger then the UIQ community. It uses the Same Dev tools as Series 60. Most currently available applications for Series 80 and 60 would be capable of running on just recompiling the applications.
As for the high price, according to the 7710 thread, Nokia guys at the conference stated that it would be available for around 450 euro!! |

Esato's list of mobile phones currently on the market needs to be updated pretty badly. In the last few months there have been a lot of phones that hit the market. |

Nokia has dumbed Series 90 and there is no mention about S90 on any site about Nokia 7710. Check this Developer FAQ. Nokia 7710 uses S60 and S80 developer platforms. (There is no S90 developer platform anymore.)
In the future, features (like those seen in 7710: touch screen, bigger screen etc) will be part of Nokia Series 60. S60 will also support a qwerty keyboard.

The 7710 is a "upgrade" of the 7700 and is a series 90. Where did you read about nokia dropping series 90 ? ? ? And why should they ? Series 60 screen resolution is 208 by 176 wheras the series 90 is 640x320 and the 7710 has 640x320 screen resolution.
