I'm with Genie and its the best provider i've used. Its pay as you go, i get unlimited wap and 300 free texts a month! All they ask is i put £10 a month on as credit which i can use for ringing people with. I get great coverage everywhere in the uk even in underground carparks.

Only draw back is the 3kb limited download via wap but that isn't really a problem as most things downloaded are 3kb or less. I can send the biggest picture size via email (lycos) for free without hassle )

So why haven't the rest of you got one? (uk)

Because I always have had a contract which means I get access to better phones at a cheaper price (yes it is subsidised but after being with Voda for 7 years and on a reducer plan my tarrif is now at only £9/month which is OK)

And every time I upgrade I get a discount from the sale price. Also I didn't think Genie supportd GPRS (or they didn't last time they phoned me to try and get me to use them) which I couldn't live without!

I personally prefer to be on contract and have my insurance etc with it. I know Pay As You Talk offers some very good deals but I just like being able to upgrade to a good phone every year.

I am happy with them at the moment. Though the GPRS is very expensive and so will be the MMS as well about £20 a month more on the line rental.

But that is the UK for you.

Orange Switzerland but not happy at all. They launched gprs as first with a flat rate as promotion.But...Well no e-mail on the phone directly, this might change soon, but again downloads limited,no screensavers, nor themes for me from wap.AND EVERYONE ELSE LAUNCHED MMS except Orange here. They are loosing momentum, hope it changes before the end of the year, will be on US for internship,or they will loose a customer.Prices and coverage ok,but other things matter to me!I want MMS and a REAL gprs, not a limited vers.

Libancell here! Everything is more than fine except for the bills. It's too expensive: i.e. 1-GPRS for 60$/month --->100MB. 2-0.20$/SMS

20 cents per an SMS? sheesh.

But you get 100mb for $60 a month? That's far better than my per a 1 mb for $6.99.

Well, after reading a lot of these posts, I find mobile companies all over the world horrible

I'm very happy with Genie-600 texts, free wap, and 50 mins calls off peak a day for just £10 a month suits me just fine, as I predominantely use sms.

i am from Pakistan and i use UFONE because its the best for gprs. but the voice quality is not too good. call is 3.50Pk Rs on the same network or landline. sms is 1.75 to any network home or worldwide. mms is 5 for sending or recieving. Gprs is 15Rs per MB

Initially with any network provider I am unhappy. Later it becomes a habit.:-l
