Ditto. Esato has much more info about se phones than any other source on the planet. And SE should atleast include the Esato url in its manuals. But i do agree with some members that Esato should remain independent.

Sonyericsson "recommends" esato; on my Z600 I had esato.com in the bookmarks for the wap and on my K700 also. Other members reported the same.

Thats great! Sy mentioned once, it was in the user manual aswell. But i am not sure that laffen had let it, otherwise he would inform us of such successful negotiations.

Se would not endorse esato after seeing all the tutorials and tips about flashing our phones ourselves etc. :-)

SE should in a way recognize Esato and @laffen's hardwork here! By giving him a citation or something to that effect . . . Also, some small token give-aways (goodies/freebies) to keep the Playtime-Beat the Lock Contest - alive all year round ! |

@jn;excellent idea mate, but chances of that happening are pretty remote,i think.i feel certain that se employees/highfliers,are more than aware that this site exists, and offers a wealth of se related information!this site most certainly deserves some sort of acknowledgement from se.unfortunately though mate,i think their ultimate concern lies in lining their pockets like most, if not all manufacturers, and not really taking a great deal of heed in customer feedback!

How do you know that SE don't take any notice of our views here?

@scotsboy..they may possibly take some notice, but everytime I've phoned se c..care and mentioned this site, they have been clueless as to its existence.they also seem to fling phones on the shelf, and expect us to beta test for them(many related moans and groans on here) .look at the many problems with the t39,t68,k700 and the odd other release. ;-)

Should SE customer support know about every website that offers advice on SE mobile phones? If they endorse one independent site wouldn't they have to endorse others to remain fair? Why phone SE customer support in the first place when Esato is probably more helpful?
Most current mobiles have bugs, a result of the increased functionality of mobiles. Even older, simpler, mobiles had bugs, most technology does, it isn't perfect. SE learn through trial and error though e.g. S700 seems to have fewer bugs than the K700.

Se usually visit esato. I would never visit an official se forum, where the co itself would command me what and how to write.

When I first got my T68i, the Vodafone shop actually gave me the wap link for Esato, that is how I first heard of Esato.
