Can you mute the shutter noise in that? What do you think of the pic quality compared to s700i?

I haven't heard a shutter noise yet but other sounds are playing.

a quick review of the manual says that I can turn on shutter sounds which are chimp, quack, flix, boing or click

ok to answer an earlier question regarding bluetooth. I successfully sent an image from my K700 to the V3 and sent another image back so no problems there

I have had some independant judges compare identical pics on both screens and the V3 wins unanimously though personally I don't think there is that much in it

getting back on topic... I think someone else should start posting some V3 pics here for comparison

nice stuff masseur! i particularly like the pic of the lamp. not only is that a funky lamp, but the razr's camera seems to pick up the colours quite well.

if u have some spare time, could you post a couple of outdoor pics, including maybe one with the sun in it. (my old mca25 had this strange habbit of replacing the sun with a black dot, i'm wondering if the razr can cope with the brightness)

yeah, I plan on doing some outdoor pics this week but I haven't seen the sun for a few days so you might be waiting a while

in the meantime here is a pic of the Sony vaio VGN-X505VP in Dixons Gatwick duty free this morning. This pc is probably even slimmer than this phone!

@masseur - What's giving more life to the image being taken, the Motorola V3 or the S700's As I really find the quality pic images with that of the S700 really - breath taking!

I can't really comment having never owned an S700 but once again can you really compare a 0.3 megapixel camera with a 1.3 megapixel camera? I would expect the S700 would win every time

comparing like for like the V3 beats the K700 camera every time so far

@masseur - OK! Aside from the good quality pic of the V3 outbesting the K700i as you said, what else did you like with it mate, as you rarely would go for other brands aside from SE, also, to the extent that you'll be swapping your K700i (which you made a review) with this Moto Thanks!

I just love the way the BLue LED flashes on the outside when your on bluetooth, and the photo caller ID on the outside of the phone when someone rings! Tres chique!

A bit off topic, but I thought I'd read somewhere Moto were having camera problems and the one in the MPx220 was really bad. It seems hard to believe when the V3 camera seems to be so good?!
