I live in Indonesia, R600 has been released here, for a couple of months

R600's features are very good... (for its price). My main concern is its talk time... I used to have a t39 (m now using T68i). Both phone could last for approx 2 days for my type of usage. R600 could only last less than a day!
If you don't mind with T65's keypad, (R600 has a better keypad) you better forget R600. There are no support (yet) for Ericsson's FM Radio, and even my chatboard doesn't work with the beast.
Pick R600 if you don't mind with the talk time, lack of accesories support, and you just need some simple GPRS conn + good feeling keypad

R600 is a DISASTER!

At first I was happy with the fact that it is very light weight. That was the last thing I was happy about.

The phone constantly hangs. I've lost several important messages due to the fact that it once conked out very badly and even all the personalization and setting up I did were wiped out.

A lot of times, I have to turn the phone off then on just to reboot it because it refuses to send messages. After turning it on and off, it works again for a while.

Writing a message can be very tedious. It starts out okay but then the typing really slows down on the third line of message. And, there's no way to quickly retype the same key. Let's say you want to write "ba" you have to wait before you can type the a.

The keys are extraordinarily hard.

Sometimes, I can't even make a call, meaning I need to reboot the phone again.

It's light, it's not badly priced, but man is it a pain to use!

Hi!
I'm also a user of the R600 and particular like it for these reasons:

Firstly, its price is really cheap in my country. Singapore dollars $98 = US$56.

Secondly, I dont see a need for a too high tech phone when the SP in my country (Singtel,M1,Starhub) aren't even going that fast into the new mms or whatsoever.

Thirdly, Buttons are just the right size for me.

Next, they have this new input of text for sms known as iezi text input.
For those who aren't sure about it, I will tell you how it works.

FOr example, if you were to type a word like racing
you will just have to press the numbers 7,2,2,4,6,4

And it will definately come out the word.
Gone are the days where you would have to press the numbers a couple of times to get your words.

All it takes is just a press of a button once for each letter.

If i were you, i would go for t65.
The functions are better in t65 than r600. You dont have T9 in r600, but ezitext (unknown for me). The battery is better. You got bigger display. But the sim card location, may be a little clumsy. And the size is also bigger.

But if you like design and care about the weight, then go for r600.
R600 have 3 display colours, EMS (Enhanced Messaging) so does t65. And both models have GPRS and WAP (V 1.2.1)

Go for the T200, the successor of R600. It has GPRS, HSCSD, it weighs only 85 grams. It has T9 as well. No bluetooth and IR of course ...

Just bought a R600 exactly a week ago - upgrade from Trium Mars. Just love the look and couldn't really afford T68i. It was okay at first, needed to adjust to it. Anyway, by the third day it was restarting itself a couple of times a day! It also makes this beeping sound (apparently searching for signal). Today was the last straw! I noticed that I was receiving SMS from non-regular people (not from my phonebook). When I checked, my whole phonebook has been totally WIPED-OUT! Anyone else facing the same problem? What's your advice? Got it from Southall, Malaysia - will see them tomorrow for a new set / refund. <--- I hope.

quite common... what software version do you have in your phone? (you check it by pressing right * left left * left *)... latest is 6.013
