Cool.
Once owned a cube as well but sold it due to financial problems.
If given a choice all over again, I will still love to own one... even though it is discontinued. Just like the T68, it is a design that will take years (even decades) to beat... |

shawnmccall9,
to quote you "you know, I like things that just work. I can go out and buy any program and there will be a windows version. Windows is like what I want cellualr to be. Why does there have to be this CDMA, TDMA, GSM, UMTS, analog, and CDMA 2000 crap. One standard, that works. Windows is the better mousetrap "
I disagree with your windows choice (it doesnt really matter but): Windows built its monopoly because of Apple OS, also, 2 years from now your PC will only be worth 1/4 of what you paid today for it, with an Apple machine, its more than 1/2 of what you paid, hehe!
Regarding wireless technology standards..........ALL wireless networks use IS-95A or IS-95B! IS-95A was the first generation of PCS (GSM, CDMA, TDMA). IS-95B is the 2.5Generation (CDMA2000, W-CDMA which is almost 3G by data bandwidth, and GPRS). both IS-95A and IS-95B will be fully upgradeable to UTMS or full 3G by software upgrades to existing hardware; however most likely, wireless telcos worldwide will be upgrading hardware for longevity purposes.
There are only 3 major players of network equipment, and another Motorola being the fourth isnt a major player on the worldwide scene. The big 3 are Ericsson and Nokia for worldwide (TDMA, GSM, GPRS, EDGE, W-CDMA and UTMS) while Qualcomm and Lucent partnered together for the Americas (CDMA & CDMA2000).
I could be wrong but check out www.gsmworld.com . Isnt it funny that in the USA & Canada CDMA 2000 with 1xRTT phones have no use for a SIM card but yet in Korea and Japan, iMode phones require a SIM card???? Hmmmm.
Whoops off the beaten path there.
Has anyone successfully implemented SyncML (XML language) into their website using an Apple machine?? IF so what software did you use to create your homepage or implement SyncML?
Thanks in advance, no harm meant. |
