Mac? What’s that?
I'm kidding.
Someone not too long ago asked the same question, I personally do not know the answer (as I am not a Mac user), but do search on the forum.

Theyre are T68 scripts for MacOSX for syncronization and net connections via Gprs and HSCSD. Just look around the net for them or search the ericsson Newsgroup.
This should get you started:

Found this great MAC software, you might want to try
Since it is not official from SonyEricsson therefore it should be test at its own risk. It only work with Mac OS 10.1.3

Thinking of getting the new DCU-10 USB data cable from Ericsson. Do you guys think it will work with the above software (instead of the stated Keyspan USB cable)?
Anyway, MAC RULES!!! I'm the happiest person on earth to learn that my T68 can work on the Mac... |

you know, I like things that just work. I can go out and buy any program and there will be a windows version. Windows is like what I want cellualr to be. Why does there have to be this CDMA, TDMA, GSM, UMTS, analog, and CDMA 2000 crap. One standard, that works. Windows is the better mousetrap

But, uhh, Windows is not the best solution, only the most widely used due to it being cheaper.
If you want to connect to your T68 and you're using OS X, you could try using a bluetooth usb dongle. That's what I use, and it works great. |

agreed, also the interbal combustion engine may not be the best solution to transportation as it is a non renewable energy source and is a strong polluter. Other technologies may eventually come online to provide better solutions such as water energy which Iceland wants to beign to explore using...I can just hear the posts pointing out the contadiction in my last two posts. What can I say, I live in the middle...Lao Tzu was my grandfather ;-P

I'm not going to turn this in to the classic pc vs mac , but I've just switched, I still use the laptop for all the T68 stuff and the G4 for everything else, I can't believe how nice, simple and uncluttered the Mac OS (9) is. |

Nice to hear from a fellow Mac user, Fingers.
My office is using the G4 running OS 10.0.4. The software "ericsson client" states that it only runs on 10.1 and above.
Trying very hard to get and install the 10.1. When that happens, I'm home free with my Mac and my T68.
o Yes, I am using a slow 266 pentium at home to run all the ericsson software presently.
Hope to hear from you soon again. |

I installed 10.0.4 but didn't have 9.2 installed first so I couldn't install a lot of the Adobe apps I wanted to, I've just gone back to 9.0.4 and down loaded all the upgrades for OS 9. I think if you want to go higher than 10.0.4 you need to buy it, you can't update via the net. Bit of a pain. Still I really like it, we got a G4 cube from my wifes work cheap, they though you couldn't upgrade it and it wasn't fast enough to run all the graphic design apps she uses. I wasn't going to tell them that you can, and since have upgraded. I pulled it out of it's enlosure before we bought it and anybody that's ever fitted a PCI card in to their PC could tell you that it's possible. You just have to be selective on your new hardware as space is very limited, but there's even room for another cooling fan. |
