'My Friends' on K700 |

This morning I've send an email to SE with the question why I don't have My Friends. They answered that I might have a branded SE k700. But I'm sure I don't have one because I don't have a simlock, and the shop I bought him, sells the phone apart from a phone-account. They say they only sell unbranded phones.
Is it possible that My Friends is disabled at Dutch versions of k700?

I ave o2 K700i and i dun have "My Friend" option anywhere. I think the branded phones dun ave det. Can any1 suggest a wap site where I can download it as it sounds pretty interesting and useful.

k45h; It not downloadable, it's blocked in the firmware.
O2, Vodafone and others block the future in their customized firmwares, just because they don't have support for it in their net.
As for the unbranded/uncustomized phones it should be on the third line under message. As the dutch version isn't only dutch, there should be My friends too. |

k45h; As long as O2 not support it I think they wont put it in their firmware. The only way to get it is to uncustomize the phone, that is flashing/upgrading it with a standard, non O2, firmware.
But, at the moment that's not possible. |

I allready thought so, but I contacted SE yesterday, and they say they can't do something about it.  That s*cks! I would like to have it, hehe
But when I flash the phone, will it be back in the phone? I'm absolutely sure it isn't a branded phone... |

I recently bought myself a k700i; without 'myfriends'.
i've been on the phone for 15min. with SE the only thing they say a firmware upgrade might work.
and yes; i've a dutch k700i, which is not simlocked or branded on any way. no annoying vodafone/orange/o2 etc. menu's.
and i realy like to use this 'myfriends' |

My Friends acts like MSN Messenger or AIM.
Yamigo is a free server for wireless village (My Friends on SE).
Yamigo allows you to connect to MSN and AIM and also their own service too!

I know Yamigo disabled MSN support on the K700 due to stability issues, don't know if this is fixed yet.
Works fine on the T630.

hi i just bought my k700 from m1 shop in singapore. i saw this "my friends" in my messenging fuction menu. maybe u guys can try looking it over there. i saw it there. i dun know abt the others
