I wouldn't mind being partner in an aussie mobile phone shop either.

I bet we'd make a good job together!

Looks like its arrived, well... almost.

I've noticed the K700 in a few of the smaller stores around the city (Melbourne), and the asking price varies from AU$750-690. There seems to be only a small amount in stock. Hopefully the price will fall once a new batch of phones come in.

Also, they are in 'older' boxes (the ones that say 32mb instead of 41Mb).

Nothing in Sydney's shop yet.... but most of them said will be available on or after 15 of July....

K700i is keep dropping in Sinagpore... therefore, i believe SE wont set the price too high when it release in Australia..

I rang optus and telstra today they said the phone was still going through network testing. I dont see how these huge companies dont have a date and the k700 may be out on there network already. I think perth gets stuff a litter later than melbourne anyway so i just have to wait a little longer.

Thanx for the heads up ill check all the small stores tomorrow i just want to see it in real life.

I email to SE few days ago.. and this is what they replied me...

Thank you for contacting the Sony Ericsson Call Center.

With regards to your enquiry, Vodafone has released the Sony Ericsson
K700. We are yet to confirm when other Australian network service
providers will be releasing the handset.

Best Regards,
Marcus
Sony Ericsson Call Center

I check many Vodafone shops, non of them have it available...(not even dammy phone)

I've had mine for a week now. Bought it for $649. at phones4sale in Melbourne (beware their reception lady "sue" or "sula" is absolute bitch and is very rude)

In regards to the K700i Only thing i don't like is the battery life....Dies After 1 day!

Other then that everything else is sweet...There are a few software stuffups here n there, but a firmware upgrade will soon fix..(i hope).

Mine came in one of the old box's and had old tags saying 32mb. Did a check on phone status and there is 41mb so its all good.

There is a Website which has over 100 games, i'm not sure if i'm allowed to post URL here. I've tested those games and they work GREAT!
