I also have the resize-problem when sending pics from my K700 to another phone via BT, in this case 2 different T610. The pics are resized from both 480x640 and 240x320 (both taken horizontal and rotated to be "standing") to the size 160x120 and of course they look crap as they get too wide. But when sending via IR instead they come out fine in the correct size and all.

This must be a bug as I can't see the benefit of having the pics faulty resized and it works fine via IR.

I also, by the way, find the BT on the K700 generally unstable as it fails alot when trying to send files to other phones. and when using the obex file transfer on PC and viewing through the files on the K700 it reconnects all the time wich makes marking many pics at once impossible...

Bought my k700 last friday.Bluetooth doesn't work reliable with SE's phone manager. So I tried out the bundled software that came in with my USB adapter (exsys) and everything works fine and faster. No problems at all both on XP and 2K.

I can confirm it works fine from my iPAQ 4150 running windows mobile 2003 but unfortunately I don't have an older iPAQ any more to help any further except to suggest that you recheck the settings in your new phone

No Bluetooth problems here with my K700i, Just recieved it yesterday afternoon... i must say i am really impressed. I have been sending Mp3 songs to my phone via the Logitec Di Novo keyboard (which i thoughroughly recommend to everyone) and it hasn't dropped out not once. the only thing i might consider doing is lowering the compression of the Mp3 as i feel it gets abit distorted when playing at a higher volume.

Other than that just getting use to the keypad as i was loved my Z600 keys. I like the joystick though...

I'm happy to say that I've had no problems at all transferring image, sound or video files onto and off my K700i via BT with my Mac. Only need to mention that the phone is slow to react to the computer when I disconnect BT from the computer side. But that's not a problem.

After firmware upgrade to R2L Ipaq 4150 and Ipaq 5550 cannot connect to internet via k700i via bluetooth. But connection through IR works perfect.

I've been having the same problems with Bluetooth, you click Send, Via Bluetooth, select your friends phone and it sits there saying "connecting" till it crashes (or I turn it off)

HOWEVER! - both me and my girlfriend have a K700i and I've been experimenting - so try this...

When you select via buetooth you'll see devices starting to appear.
At the top of the screen it says Searching ... NOW WAIT! when it says Devices Found - Now select your friends phone.

Works on mine every time now. I have the orange version of the k700i and my girlfriend is on O2 - tried it on both version of phone and it works.

I think what must be happening is that the phone is scanning for devices and once it finds the device - it appears on your screen, however, the phone keeps on scanning for around 30 seconds and if you press select too soon bluetooth is being used by another part of the program so it sits there and crashes.

Let me know if this solves anyone elses probs with a crashing bluetooth.
