Well it's done finally i have my HBH-65.
It's great working 100% fine at home and when i'm driving

Hi Gang,
I'm glad to have started such a lively debate. Here's a quick postscript to my experiences:
I happened to use my partner's BMW the other day. Nice relaxing change from my noisy Turbo Diesel. I called her from the motorway at about 95 mph and guess what - she could hear me perfectly!
The bottom line seems to be that if you intend to use the 'phone from cars where Engine and/or Wind noise are a feature, don't get the HBH-65.

A final Postscript to my Postscript, for anyone who's still reading.
After reading promising reviews of the Bluetrek G2 and its performance in noisy environments, I bought one to go with my Z600.
I'm delighted to report that I can now consume vast quantities of diesel oil at 90+ mph while talking on and listening to the phone through the G2.
Not bad at 1/2 the cost of my HBH-65 and it's more comfortable and battery life is better too.
So all's well that ends well. There IS life after HBH-65, after all! |
