Oh no! I have a fairly new phone. Read the manual carefully and it only said that im supposed to charge it for 4 hrs. I fully drain and recharge my batt tho. Do you think this wil pose a problem in the long run? My phone is only 3 days old

I bought a T68i about 10 days ago and I have to say from my experience, the battery sucks. I had been using a Nokia 8390 and it would last about 2 days with heavy use. My T68i lasts less than 2 days, with light usage (I have Bluetooth, irda and GPRS all turned off). I spoke with SE this morning, and they are sending me a new battery, so I am hoping I get better results with this one. They suggested I charge the new battery for about 24 hours the first time, fully drain the battery the first 3 times I charge it and not charge it for more than about 2 hours.

My T68i haven't been charged for 5 days now.
I never turned it off and the usage is about 2 hours talktime, GPRS on, no bluetooth and some wapping. It has complained about "low battery" the last 24 hours. Just hang up a 30 minute call but it didn't fail me

BTW: GPRS does NOT affect the battery performance http://www.sonyericsson.com/spg.jsp?template=SP1_10&B=ie&PID=9773&LM=SB_V&noredir=1#1382

that's great laffen! actually been draining my battery the last 2 charges i've done and as of now my battery life is a little better. Seems like its going to last me 2 days with around 2 hrs of talk time compared to the 1-1.5 days i have before. how long did you charge your battery the first time you used it?

Great to see!! Even the people selling the phone do advise the customers to keep the GPRS off so it wont drain the battery!!
Thx.

I've got 335 hours of SBT & 9 hours talktime when fully carged.

My T68i will work for apporx 5-6 days on 1 charge (included 1 hour talk, syncho via bluetooth 2 times, WAP surfing 1 hour approx, 10-15 sms, 10 calendar notes)

Kind regards
Claus
