how good is the standard speaker that comes in the kit.

l find the standard speaker more than adequate, it's very loud and I haven't had an instance where l've not been able to hear someone even at speed or on noisey roads. |

I haven't used the small speaker, got the whole thing installed same time as the music mute, just didn't want an extra bit of kit around.
The HCB300 sounds ok, the auto switching profile colour thingy sounds like a good idea, but available Q3 2004? I'd translate that as a year from now. |

As a vehicle technician I installed my HCB30 myself. The speaker supplied isn't big at all, and is loud with good sound quality IMHO. In my car you can't even see it where I mounted it. Guess it all depends what you want from your carkit. |
