erm, the oedipus complex is to do with an unhealthy affection from a boy to his mother. This does not relate to 'normal' partner seeking habits in average ppl  afaik.

@vlammetje- Well, I also hear that comment from @masseur. I just sent @laffen a pm asking the restrictions of each member when it comes to posting of photos in (jpeg/gif) formats in various threads, 'am still awaiting for his reply till now. As I have told @masseur the other day, this is what I 'LOVE' doing best - school, work and at home . . . I don't know much about celfone/PC technicalities and other related facts rather than this one, so I just hope that you'll bear with me my friend. This will last only for about 1.5 months from now, after which I will take a loooong rest for about 2 months. Maybe by then you'll start 'missing/looking' for my posts with photos attached - @vlammetje. My apologies again, if my photos may have offended you in some way . . . This is the only 'best' thing I can offer to some of the members here at Esato, so I just hope that I will not be restricted nor denied of my 'full' liberty on doing what I do and 'enjoy' - best . . .Cheers !

You have this images from another website so why not linking directly from it ? This "attach picture" feature is ( I think ) ment to be used when someone wants to share theme, background, whatever ... and don't have any place where to host it. Your images are allready hosted somewhere ....

@ jim, well said, that's exactly what I think re: attaching images.
Now: on the topic of the thread (  ) the ideal partner has the same level intelligence, understand the partners sense of humour, is sexually attractive to the partner, there is a fundamental trust between the two and at the same time, they are able to let eachother some free space as well
Finally, ideally a partner is a 'soulmate'
Lots to ask for  and lots to give.

I don't know if a straight man searches for a woman who resembles his mother, but It seems as gay men searches for men who resembles their father.
If you compare a gay man's partner and his father - they use to have something in personality that makes them very alike.
